LG today announced the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier face mask as its first into the category. The coronavirus pandemic has pushed us towards actively wearing face masks, and this smart face mask is touted to help address the short supply of disposable masks, and provide fresh, clean air both indoors and outdoors.

The Respiratory Sensor will control the fan’s speed according to the breath level of the user. This sensor has the capability to detect the volume of user breath. Then it changes the fan's speed accordingly. There will be 3 levels of speeds in the dual fans of LG Electronic Face Mask.

LG created a Mobile app that will send notifications regarding filters, disinfection cycle, and many other things

  • There are two H13 HEPA filters in this face mask
  • It has Dual fans
  • It has a Respiratory sensor
  • It has 820 mAh of battery that can last longer for almost 8 hours(Note that 8 hours in low-speed mode while 2 hours in high-speed mode)
  • There will be a cover case too with this Face Mask that will have disinfection features using UIV LED Lights to kill the germs
  • It has a Mobile App
